2024 Minnesota Election Results

Election Date: Mar. 5, 2024 | Updated 3:59 PM EDT Mar. 15, 2024

Super Tuesday is the first presidential contest in which Minnesotans will have a say in 2024. The safely Democratic state has voted blue since 1976, giving its 10 electoral votes to Biden in 2020. Last presidential primary, Trump won the Republican vote, and Biden the Democratic, making for a predictable night on Tuesday.

Minnesota law changed last year to establish a permanent absentee voter list, which prompted automatic voter registration and the re-enfranchisement of felon offenders post-incarceration to expand access to the ballots. The state ranks one of the highest in the nation for voter turnout, taking home first place in 2020, and is expected to do the same in November.
