The Quad Report: Miracles, border patrol parties & 3 goat tweets

Welcome back to the Quad Report, the weekly article roundup of stories you may have missed while you were trying to use snow as an excuse to have all midterms, papers, and problem sets cancelled. One can dream, right?

1. Stick to party themes like "The 80s" or something.

Phi Gamma Delta at the University of Texas at Austin decided it would be a good idea to host a border patrol-themed party last week, with students showing up ponchos, sombreros, and police costumes. The fraternity also claims that the party was meant to be "Western-themed." Right.

3. What to say when your parents tell you to lay off the tweeting.

"It's helping me get into college!" One student found herself totally stuck between Lafayette College and Lehigh University, and to her surprise, one tweet helped her make the decision. The Internet isn't just for Netflix and cat GIFs, am I right?

4. Shocker of the Week: Avocados are delicious.

Let's be frank: Avocados are bae. And there are a million other ways to eat them that don't include putting them on your hipster ezekiel bread.
