Star Wars fan builds Millennium Falcon with 7,500 LEGOs
The architectural force is strong with this Star Wars fan, who’s created his own Millennium Falcon with Legos.
Hannes Tscharner, a 32-year-old creative director from Switzerland, used 7,500 Legos pieces to build the model. He says the project took a year to complete.
"My main goal was to present the model in a flying position, which was a huge task,” he wrote on his Flickr page. “Due to its internal framework it was not possible to include an interior, but I was able to fully lighten the model. And there was still enough space to include a detailed cockpit (with 4 seats), gunner’s platform and a lowering ramp."
