Where can I get election results if I don't have a TV?

No TV? No cable? No problem. You can still get election returns in real time. Here are a few ways.

1. Google

Just Google "election results" to see real-time results -- updated every 30 seconds. A Google blog post has more details:

"Starting when the polls close on Election Day, you will be able to find U.S. election results integrated right into your Google searches in over 30 languages around the world. You’ll also be able to see detailed updates and results of the Presidential, Senatorial, Congressional, Gubernatorial races as well as state-level referenda and ballot propositions."

2. YouTube

Starting at 7 p.m. ET tonight, you can watch live news coverage right on YouTube:

3. News apps

Numerous news apps (including Paste BN's, which you can download for iPhone here and Android here) will send push alerts -- and a couple, like the Guardian, send results right to your home screen.

4. Facebook Messenger bots

Several orgs offer updates via Facebook Messenger, like Purple, Wonk and NYT Politics.

5. Live streaming

CNN is streaming its coverage live online starting at 4 p.m. ET on desktop and mobile, as are a couple of other news networks.

6. Votecastr

The data startup Votecastr teamed up with Slate and VICE to bring real-time results online.
