Deal watch: Norwegian Cruise Line kicks off promotion

Norwegian Cruise Line is offering up to $250 in on-board credit to customers who book a sailing by Oct. 13.

As part of the "Let's Cruise" promotion, launched this week, passengers also will receive a coupon booklet with more than $300 in on-board savings at restaurants, bars and other on-board areas. The line also is reducing the deposit that customers must put down to hold a cabin by half.

The offer is good on any Norwegian sailing in 2012 and beyond, including four-day voyages to the Bahamas from Miami that start at $129 per person. Norwegian also is offering 10- and 11-night winter cruises in Europe on the Norwegian Jade for as little as $499 per person.
