Zumba on a cruise ship? Another line catches the wave

Add Norwegian to the list of cruise lines offering Zumba fitness classes.

The Miami-based company today announced it'll have the high-energy, internationally-inspired dance workout routines on all 11 of its ships by the spring.

Norwegian's announcement comes just days after Celebrity Cruises expanded a Zumba program across its fleet.

Both Norwegian and Celebrity are following in the footsteps of Princess Cruises, which began adding Zumba classes to ships in 2011.

A spokeswoman for Norwegian says the Zumba classes will be available to passengers at no extra charge. Celebrity Cruises and Princess also offer the Zumba classes on their ships for free.
