Deal watch: Princess puts Alaska on sale
Princess Cruises is out this week with another promotion, this time for Alaska.
The line's new "Denali on Sale" offer brings fares as low as $99 per day for an Alaskan "cruisetour" that combines a week-long cruise with several days touring the state by land. The promotion also includes up to $300 per couple in savings on air travel to reach Alaska. Look inside one of Princess' Alaska-based ships.
Princess cruisetours include accommodations at Princess-owned wilderness lodges in the state and travel between areas by Princess rail car.
A sampling of fares during the promotion:
- Ten-night Fairbanks to Vancouver On Your Own cruisetours start at $989 per person for a windowless interior cabin (was $1,370). Air savings of $200 per couple is available.
- Eleven-night Anchorage to Vancouver On Your Own cruisetours start at $1,149 per person for an interior cabin (was $1,587). Air savings of $200 per couple is available.
- Thirteen-night Anchorage to Vancouver Off the Beaten Path cruisetours start at $1,599 per person for an interior cabin (was $1,965). Air savings of $200 per couple is available.
- Fifteen-night Fairbanks to Vancouver Off the Beaten Path cruisetours start at $2,199 per person for an interior cabin (was $2,526). Air savings of $300 per couple is available.
The fares include all applicable fees and taxes. They're available to residents of the USA, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
