New England Patriots to host fan cruise

Fans of the New England Patriots now have a cruise to call their own.

A new partnership between Celebrity Cruises and the Boston-based football team will include a fan cruise with former players to take place in 2015.

The seven-night Eastern Caribbean sailing on the Celebrity Silhouette will kick off March 15, 2015 in Fort Lauderdale and include stops in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Basseterre, St. Kitts; and Philipsburg, St. Maarten.

On-board activities with Patriots alumni will include karaoke nights, pool party volleyball and football time on the ship's top-deck Lawn Club. Autograph and photo sessions also are planned.

The names of the former players who will be participating have yet to be announced.

Fares for the voyage start at $1,019 per person, based on double occupancy and including a $50 on-board credit and a Classic Beverage Package for two.
