The buzz: The second of the line's new Royal class of vessels will be similar to its 8-month-old sister, the Royal Princess, with a few small changes.
Like the Royal Princess, the Regal Princess will boast such notable new features as a cantilevered, glass-enclosed walkway over the ocean called the SeaWalk. It'll also have a deck-top water and light show; private, extra-charge outdoor cabanas; an outdoor batting cage for baseball fans; and a working television studio/performance venue that seats 280 people — all features that made their debut on the Royal Princess.
Like the Royal Princess, the Regal Princess also will feature a greatly expanded version of the line's signature Piazza, a central atrium area with food outlets and entertainment.
Itineraries: Six- to 20-night Mediterranean sailings starting at $1,199 per person; seven-night Eastern Caribbean sailings starting at $699 per person.
