Deal watch: Princess puts Asia, Australia on sale
Princess Cruises is out with a new promotion for sailings in the South Pacific, Australia and Asia.
The Bucket List Extravaganza Sale, as it's being called, brings up to $200 per cabin in on-board credits and up to $400 in pre-paid gratuities when booking a voyage in one of the regions.
Under the terms of the offer, customers booking windowless "inside" cabins and ocean-view cabins will receive an on-board credit of $100 per cabin for sailings of 10 days or more. The credit for shorter trips is $50 per cabin.
The on-board credit is doubled for customers in balcony cabins and suites.
The pre-paid gratuities part of the offer only is available to customers who book balcony cabins, mini-suites and suites. Princess normally adds $11.50 per person per day to passenger bills for gratuities ($12 per day for passengers in suites).
Princess fares for South Pacific cruises start at $1,499 per person for a 10-night-trip. Fares for Australia and New Zealand sailings start at $1,499 per person for a 12-night trip. Asia voyages start at $1,199 per person for a 17-night trip.
The Bucket List promotion runs through July 17 and is available to residents of the United States, Canada, Mexico and Bermuda.
