Deal watch: Save on kids fares with sailing cruise

Sailing line Star Clippers has kicked off a new promotion that brings 25% savings on fares for children.

Under the terms of the offer, which is available for summer 2015 sailings, two adults booking at the brochure price can get a 25% discount when sharing a single cabin with a child or two cabins with two children.

Cabin categories 2 through 6 on Star Clippers' three vessels are eligible for the discount. Children must be 17 or younger.

Star Clippers operates cruises on three authentic tall ships including the five-masted, 42-sail Royal Clipper — a 439-foot, 227-passenger vessel that has three pools and a three-deck atrium.
