Deal watch: Tahiti, South America cruises on sale
Paul Gauguin Cruises today is out with a promotion on select voyages in the South Pacific and Latin America that brings savings of up to $3,400 per person.
The upscale line says customers can save $600 to $3,400 off previously advertised rates on nearly a dozen upcoming sailings in the regions on the line's 332-passenger Paul Gauguin and 88-passenger Moana.
Under the terms of the 5th Anniversary Sale, as it's being called, customers must book by Aug. 16.
The discounted sailings include half a dozen seven-night trips to Tahiti and the Society Islands on the Paul Gauguin. Departure dates range from Nov. 15, 2014 to March 28, 2015, with rates as low as $3,345 per person (down from $3,995). A 10-night sailing to the Society Islands and Tuamotus on the Paul Gauguin departing on Feb. 4, 2015 now starts at $4,245 per person, down from $5,095.
Among South America sailings included in the promotion is a seven-night trip departing Dec. 20 that now starts at $2,995, down from $3,945.
Also marked down is an eight-night voyage from Colon, Panama to Philipsburg, St. Maarten departing on March 20, 2015 that now starts at $2,645, down from $3,495.
