Royal Caribbean drops charge for TV star's eatery
You'll no longer have to pay extra to eat at celebrity chef Devin Alexander's first restaurant at sea.
Royal Caribbean tells Paste BN it is dropping the $25-per-person cover charge for dinner at Devinly Decadence, Alexander's four-month-old eatery on the line's new Quantum of the Seas.
The $15 cover charge for lunch at the restaurant also is being removed.
Located at the top of the vessel within its adults-only Solarium, Devinly Decadence specializes in healthful dishes with 500 of fewer calories. An advocate for healthful eating, Alexander is best known as the chef for TV's The Biggest Loser.
Devinly Decadence joins five other eateries available to Quantum of the Seas passengers at no extra charge as part of the new, multi-restaurant Dynamic Dining system the line debuted on the ship. Royal Caribbean traditionally has served most meals on ships in one giant dining room but under Dynamic Dining passengers can move between multiple, no-extra-charge restaurants nightly.
Royal Caribbean didn't say why it is dropping the cover charges at Devinly Decadence, but Quantum passengers have been reporting a rocky rollout for the Dynamic Dining system.
