Deal watch: South Pacific, Caribbean cruises on sale

It's deal time again at Paul Gauguin Cruises, the leader in sailings to the South Pacific.

The upscale line is out with a two-week promotion on select 2015 and 2016 voyages in the region on the 332-passenger Paul Gauguin as well as sailings in Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America on the 90-passenger Tere Moana.

Bookings must be made by June 13.

Among cruises included in the promotion:

- Seven-night Tahiti & the Society Islands sailings departing on Aug. 8, 15 and 22; and Dec. 23 now start at $4,345 per person (down from $5,295). Seven-night sailings on Jan. 16, 23 and 30, 2016 now start at $3,395, down from $3,995. Sailings on Oct. 3 and Dec. 16 start at $3,295 and $4,195, down from $3,995 and $5,145, respectively.

- An 11-night Cook Islands & Society Islands voyages on Dec. 5 now starts at $4,595 per person (down from $5,695).

-- A 10-night Society Islands & Tuamotus sailing on Jan. 6, 2016 now starts at $4,495 per person (down from $5,395).

- A seven-night Caribbean sailing from Philipsburg, St. Maarten to Colon, Panama departing on Dec. 12 now starts at $2,145 (down from $2,845).
