Deal watch: MSC Cruises offers air credit to Europe

Still debating that European vacation, even though the summer has started? MSC Cruises is offering incentives on cabins in the Mediterranean that could be particularly appealing to North Americans, given the still favorable rates for changing dollars into Euros.

In its "Last-minute cruises" promotion, MSC is throwing in a credit of up to $400 per cabin to be applied against the cost of trans-Atlantic air fares.

Five ships are included in the promotion, including MSC Divina, MSC Fantasia, and MSC Preziosa, along with MSC Musica and MSC Lirica, which specialize in Greek Isles itineraries.

Passengers can get $50 credits for booking an interior stateroom, $100 for an ocean view, $150 for a balcony and the full $200 per person in a MSC Yacht Club or Aurea Suite.
