Deal watch: Princess throws in free drinks with new bookings

Princess Cruises is out with a new promotion that brings a free, all-inclusive drinks package with new bookings.

The Sip & Sail offer is available to customers booking a balcony cabin, mini-suite or suite on one of more than 350 sailings in 2016.

Customers who book a mini-suite or suite also will receive free specialty dining for two people.

As part of the promotion, Princess also is reducing the deposit required to hold a cabin to $100 per person and offering reduced fares for the third and fourth passengers in a cabin.

Cabins must be booked by Aug. 18.

The drinks package that is part of the offer includes individual beverage item such as soda, juices, shakes and floats, bottled water, cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, specialty coffees and tea, up to $10 retail value, purchased at all bars, public lounges and dining venues. Additionally, full bottles of wine that retail for under $100 can be purchased at a 40% discount from the menu price.

The offer only is available to residents of the United States, Canada, Bermuda and Mexico.
