Va va vroom! Camp inside the oval at the Indy 500

For the first time ever, race fans will be able to camp inside the oval of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during this year's Indianapolis 500 weekend May 22- 26.

The speedway is setting up 100 "glamping" tents equipped with queen beds, twin beds or military-style cots for two to four occupants. Other amenities include chairs and tables, linens, infield parking, access to a lounge, separate shower facilities and a community barbecue area.

Previously, only drivers and team owners, who stayed in RVs, were allowed to camp inside the track.

Four-night packages range from $650-$1,100 per tent and include general admission tickets to race events.
