If you're not in the Big Apple this week, the good news is that you don't have to book a plane ticket. You can watch the magic live during NBC's two-hour "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" special.
Hosted by Kelly Clarkson, the highly anticipated tree lighting ceremony will have show-stopping performances to get you in the Christmas spirit. Here's what to know:
Where to watch NBC's 'Christmas in Rockefeller Center'
The live broadcast will air on Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. It runs until 10 p.m. ET.
How big is this year's tree, and where did it come from?
This year's tree was transported from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The Norway Spruce is reportedly 74 feet tall and weighs an estimated 11 tons.
"The Norway Spruce is great for the scale it can achieve; it can hold the lights on its branches, and it stands there nice and proud as the Tree should," head gardener Erik Pauze said in a recent interview. "[This year’s tree] is perfect all around. It has that wonderful Christmas Tree shape all the way to the top."
