Taylor Swift to cheer for Travis Kelce’s big night

Taylor Swift was on hand to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, just as she was last year when Kansas City triumphed over the 49ers in Las Vegas.

Go Taylor’s boyfriend” was written on banners and t-shirts of the fans she has helped bring into the league.

Swift brought new fans to the NFL since she began attending games at the start of their relationship in 2023. But Kelce said this week he would be “honored” to have Trump in attendance even after he wrote on social media last year, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”.

Swift’s “Bad Blood” collaborator and generational hip-hop talent Kendrick Lamar will have the attention of the 73,000-plus crowd for the halftime show, bringing story-telling brilliance to the Superdome after winning five Grammys last week.

Swift was booed when she was first shown to the crowd in New Orleans and appeared to say, "what is going on."

President Donald Trump’s Super Bowl attendance will be ‘historic’

Spirits were high and security tight as fans flocked to the Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday for a Super Bowl matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, where Trump was in attendance.

Fans decked out in Eagles green and Chiefs crimson marched down Poydras Street under pristine, sunny skies hours before kickoff, with dueling chants of “Go, birds!” and “Red Kingdom” ringing down the street.

Police officers and Homeland Security officers shut down several blocks of the key thoroughfare to traffic, with the game kicking off just weeks after a deadly New Year’s Day attack in the popular French Quarter neighborhood.

Secret Service searched members of the media and credentialed staff as they entered the stadium, with Trump expected to become the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl.

Trump was flanked by a coterie court of Republicans, including Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, multiple Senators and family. Trump was a guest of New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson and sat next to her in a suite. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was also in the suite.

Missouri native Jon Hamm and Pennsylvania native Bradley Cooper performed live tunnel intros for the teams. Harry Connick Jr. will represented his hometown of New Orleans as part of the opening ceremony.
