Children, mommy was arrested on New Jersey's Seaside Heights beach, but she really is a good person.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s kids recently recreated her famous 2010 beach arrest on an Instagram post and story. Seven-year old son Lorenzo is shown putting play-handcuffs on sister Giovanna, 5.

“Giovanna got arrested. (worried face emoji),” Snooki commented. “#WheresTheBeach (SHES A GOOD PERSON!)”

It was the arrest heard around the world. Snooki was picked up on the Seaside Heights beach on July 30, 2010 and charged with disorderly conduct.

Beach-goers complained that Snooki, who appeared to have had a few too many, was bothering them. She had to pay a $500 fine and complete two days of community service, which included signing autographs at the borough community center.

The incident, shown on Season 3 of “Jersey Shore,” cemented the crew's bad boy — and bad girl — reputation.

Now, Snooki has opted out of the “Jersey Shore” reboot, “Jersey Shore Family Vacation,” saying that filming the series takes too much time away from her family, which includes seven-month baby boy Angelo with husband Jionni LaValle.

“Literally, leaving my kids to film it is really, really hard on me,” said Snooki, 32, on her  “It’s Happening with Snooki and Joey” podcast in December. “I try and quit every single day. I just hate being away from the kids. I don’t like partying three days in a row. It’s just not my life anymore -- I want to be home with the kids.”

Still, Snooki has been reminiscing about her halcyon days on the beach. She recently retweeted, twice, footage of the arrest.
