Britney Spears is hoping to come back stronger than ever after breaking her foot.

The 38-year-old "Toxic" singer was hospitalized after fracturing her metatarsal bone while dancing, her boyfriend Sam Asghari revealed on Instagram Tuesday.

"My lioness broke her metatarsal bone on her foot doing what she loves which is dancing," Asghari captioned a playful picture of himself and Spears, who wore a hospital gown and a thermometer sticker on her forehead. "Wishing her the best recovery so she can jump, run, and dance her butt off."

Spears' injury required a cast on her left leg, which Asghari took the liberty of personalizing. The backup dancer adorned her cast with the word "Stronger," a nod to Spears' 2000 song, in alternating blue and green ink.

"When you break something it tends to heal stronger specially when you’re my Girl," Asghari added.

Spears' isn't the only member of her family to break a bone in the past week. Her niece, Maddie, 11, is recuperating, too.

On Valentine's Day, Maddie, the 11-year-old daughter of Spears' sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, hurt her arm during a "little accident at recess." It turned out to be a "buckle fracture."

"Between (Spears) and Maddie we are running a hospital!" joked Jamie.
