'Stranger Things' actor Grace Van Dien alleges sexual harassment by movie producer
Grace Van Dien is changing her work priorities after she says she faced sexual harassment while filming a previous movie.
The 26-year-old actress, who plays Chrissy Cunningham on "Stranger Things," said during a Twitch livestream Tuesday that she's turned down four movies and is focusing on streaming after the experience. The livestream is no longer available.
"The last few projects I’ve worked on, I didn’t have the best experiences with some of the people I had to work for," Van Dien said.
"One of the last movies I did, one of the producers asked me to … he hired a girl that he was sleeping with and then he had her ask me to have a threesome with them," she alleged. "That’s my boss. I didn’t (do it) and I cried and I was so upset."
She did not name the producer or the movie.

Streaming, she said, is better for her mental health. "I get to stay inside my home and play video games and I don’t have my boss asking me to have sex with him. That’s how this is better for my mental health.”
Paste BN has reached out to Van Dien's representatives for comment.
Van Dien streams on Twitch under the verified username BlueFille and has around 295,000 followers.
She said she has more control on the video streaming platform. "With streaming, I get to choose who I hang out with, who I talk to."
Van Dien followed up on her comments on Twitter Thursday.
"As I get older, my work priorities are changing. I'm waiting for the right project/the right people to work with," she tweeted. "It's nice to feel calm."
Van Dien's projects include Netflix sci-fi drama series "Greenhouse Academy" and the 2022 vampire flick "V for Vengeance" among other titles.
