Kristin Cavallari talks ending friendship with ex-BFF over Jay Cutler affair rumors

Kristin Cavallari is opening up about calling it quits with someone other than Jay Cutler.
On Tuesday's episode of her "Let's Be Honest" podcast, the Uncommon James founder opened up about losing her ex-best friend over affair rumors with ex-husband Cutler.
"I’ve really had one adult friendship with a woman that blew up in my face," Cavallari told listeners. "I felt as though one of my best friends at the time, who was on the 'Very Cavallari' show, I don't think she ever had an affair with my ex-husband, but the viewers of the show, season 2, were accusing them of having an affair."
After Cavallari felt her ex-best friend was capitalizing on rumors to "fuel the fire," she sent an email to the unnamed friend.
"I in no way, shape or form attacked or blamed," Cavallari said. "It was just, 'This is how I feel.' And it blew up in my face."
The friend is seemingly beauty expert Kelly Henderson, who appeared with Cutler and Cavallari on the latter's now-canceled E! reality show.
The Uncommon Beauty brainchild revealed her friendship breakup with Henderson during the show's Season 3 premiere in January 2020, according to E! News.
"When season two was airing, there was a lot of talk on social media about Jay and Kelly having an affair," Cavallari said at the time. "Not for one second have I ever thought that it was true. It wasn't the actual accusations of them having an affair that made me upset, it was how Kelly went about it."
In April 2020, Cavallari announced her split from Cutler in an Instagram post, writing, "With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce" after nearly seven years of marriage. They married in 2013 and share three children.
"We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart," she added in the caption.
Then, Henderson seemingly responded in May 2020, telling celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser on the lawyer's podcast "All's Fair" that "there was never an affair, I have nothing to do with their divorce and I am not dating Jay Cutler."
In October, Cavallari spoke out in a separate episode of "Let's Be Honest" after Cutler was arrested for DUI and gun possession in Tennessee, telling fans she hopes the former NFL quarterback "gets the help that he needs."
Earlier this year, Cavallari made headlines after revealing she had a new 24-year-old boyfriend, Montana Boyz member Mark Estes, sparking criticism of their 13-year age gap. In September, the "Laguna Beach" alum shared that she and Estes had broken up. She later explained on her podcast that they split after she "started to feel" their age gap and differences in life experience.
