Snoop Dogg's daughter Cori Broadus reveals she's pregnant with first child

The Snoop Dogg clan is adding a new pup to the pack.

The rap superstar's daughter, Cori Broadus, is pregnant with her first child, the 25-year-old revealed to E! News in an interview published Monday. Broadus is expecting with her fiancé Wayne Duece.

"I found out Oct. 28," Broadus told the outlet. "This baby is so unplanned, but we are soooooo blessed."

Broadus, who has previously opened up about her battle with lupus, also noted that her pregnancy is high risk, but said "God has his hands on me, and me and the baby are doing perfectly fine."

Broadus shared that she and Duece are having a daughter. As for Broadus' parents Snoop Dogg and mother Shante Broadus, the R&B singer said the couple is "so excited," although Snoop was "hoping for a grandson."

"I'm just excited to love on my baby girl and make her feel like she's the prettiest in the world," Broadus said. "Growing up, I wasn't the most confident and never felt like I fit in, so (I'm glad) just to instill all the beautiful things in her head at a young age."

She added: "Wayne said he's excited to have someone that looks like me. He knows she is going to be so beautiful, and he just can't wait to build things for her and give her all the love in the world."

Broadus and Duece have been dating since 2018 and became engaged in 2022. The couple gave fans an in-depth look at their wedding preparations and relationship in the three-part E! docuseries "Snoop's Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne's Story," which premiered earlier this month.

The show includes the vulnerable moment when Broadus tried on her wedding dress, designed by Michael Costello. She connected her insecurity in the dress to the insecurity she has felt in her relationship.

"I'm battling with myself every day," she said. "It's just so weird to me that Wayne got on one knee, and sometimes I'd be like, 'Why? Like, why do you love me this much? What do you see in me?' So I think trying on the dress kind of brought me back to that place."
