Britney Spears recently reunited with her estranged son Jayden Federline, and the pair got to celebrate Christmas together.

"Best Christmas of my life!!! I haven't seen my boys in 2 years!!!" Spears, 43, captioned an Instagram video featuring her and her youngest son. "Tears of joy and literally in shock everyday koo koo crazy so in love and blessed!!! I'm speechless thank you Jesus!!!"

In the video, Spears pulls Federline, 18, toward the camera and kisses her son's cheek, calling him "my baby." In another clip, Federline says "hello" and "Merry Christmas" as Spears pans her phone to a cozy, burning fireplace.

Spears shares sons Jayden and Sean with her ex Kevin Federline. Both moved to Hawaii with their dad in 2023.

A 2022 Daily Mail story and ITV video interview detailed a rift between the sons and their mom after the pop star's 13-year-long controversial conservatorship was terminated by a Los Angeles judge in November 2021.

Her father, Jamie Spears, managed the conservatorship and was the subject of intense fan backlash at the time. Jayden Federline told the outlets that the public hadn't been fair to his grandfather and that his mother gave preferential treatment to him over his brother.

Britney Spears responded to her son's comments after they were aired.

"I say to my son Jayden that I send all the love in the world to you every day for the rest of my life," she wrote on Instagram in 2022. "My love for my children has no boundaries and it deeply saddens me to know his outcry of saying I wasn't up to his expectations of a mother … and maybe one day we can meet face to face and talk about this openly!!!!"
