Taylor Swift celebrates Travis Kelce's Chiefs record, gives his teammate Christmas present
Taylor Swift is a Christmas game-changer.
On Christmas Day on Wednesday, the pop star celebrated her boyfriend Travis Kelce by liking a celebratory post in honor of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's recent achievement.
"If you ever can’t find Travis, chances are he’s in the end zone. Congrats, @killatrav!" the caption read. Fans quickly noticed that the "Fortnight" singer found time in her busy holiday schedule to like the post.
Kelce surpassed NFL great Tony Gonzalez, widely considered to be one of the greatest tight ends of all time, with 77 receiving touchdowns to claim the Chiefs franchise record. Kelce even honored Gonzalez by "showing Tony some love" and dunking the ball over the goal post in the retired NFL player's signature touchdown celebration.
"We know how iconic it was that he would dunk the ball over the goal post all the time, and I gave my best effort. I don’t know if I did it quite like him, but I gave it a run," Kelce said about the choice to honor Gonzalez.

The Kansas City Chiefs clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs with a 29-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers during a Christmas day game, but Swift skipped the game, possibly opting to spend the day in her pajamas after a busy year. Her record-breaking Eras Tour wrapped up earlier this month on Dec. 8 in Vancouver.
Swift's friend Brittany Mahomes, the Kansas City businesswoman who is married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also skipped the game and posted photos in matching pajamas with her two children.
Taylor Swift sent gifts to Travis Kelce's teammate
Kelce's teammate and Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones's girlfriend Sheawna Weathersby took to her Instagram Story with a slew of gifts under the family's tree, with a card attached that read, "Merry Christmas" from "Travis and Taylor."
"So blessed & grateful this holiday season," Weathersby captioned the story post, continuing with a "Thank youuuu, Tay Tay!!!"
Weathersby and Swift are often spotted on game days alongside Chariah Gordon, a businesswoman and the fiancé of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr.
