Prince William kisses Princess Kate in rare intimate post for Valentine's Day
It's a royal love story for the ages.
Prince William and Princess Kate are celebrating Valentine's Day by posting a sweet PDA moment. On Friday, the Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account posted a shot of William, 42, kissing Kate, 43, on the cheek from a September 2024 shoot. The couple captioned the photo with a single red heart emoji.
The royals have been married since 2011 and share three children: George, 11, Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6.
The couple have been through a lot together through the years, including Kate's cancer battle.
Last month, William shared a birthday shoutout for Kate, complimenting her "strength."
"To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you've shown over the last year has been remarkable," William captioned a black and white photo of Kate on their joint account. "George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you."
Kate revealed in March that she would undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy after having abdominal surgery. Her treatment ended in September, with the princess sharing in a video posted to social media at the time: "My path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes."
Last month, she announced her cancer is in remission after visiting the hospital where she was treated.
"It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed (sic) on recovery," the Princess of Wales said in a post on social media Jan. 14. "As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support."
