Don't let his three Emmy nominations and his more than 10 million Instagram followers fool you, Pedro Pascal is a man of the people.

The "Last of Us" star was filmed on an economy flight from London toward the Cannes Film Festival in France where his upcoming western comedy "Eddington" premiered.

Filmmaker and influencer Lucas Pelizaro recorded the "Mandalorian" alum boarding the plane on May 16 ahead of the annual festival the same day. In a comedic skit shared on social media, Pelizaro pretended that Pascal followed him to Cannes and snuck into the movie premiere, which he stars in.

"Things really got out of hand when we landed, he pretended to forget his phone on a plane, just so that he could be in the same shutter bus as I was. So I went as fast as I could to border control and tried to make my way through to see if I could lose him. But he didn't care," Pelizaro joked. "He snuck into the premiere and Cannes is strict. They don't let anyone in but somehow this guy just walked straight in."

Heartthrob went viral over immigration comments

During a Cannes news conference last week, Pascal was asked how he felt about millions of Latin migrants living in the U.S. undocumented and whether he's concerned the country will be completely closed off.

"I want people to be safe and to be protected — and I want, very much, to live on the right side of history," Pascal said. “I am an immigrant. My parents are refugees from Chile. I, myself, was a refugee. We fled a dictatorship and I was privileged enough to grow up in the U.S. after asylum in Denmark."

He added that he wouldn't know what his life would be like if he didn't grow up in U.S. The quote went viral on social media with the clip receiving over 7.5 million views on X.

"Pedro has always been a cool dude and he just got cooler in my book. Stand for what you believe in. Be a decent human being that’s all any of us can and should be required to do!" one user wrote.
