A Broadway actress turned solo pop sensation is taking her act on the road.

Reneé Rapp, better known for her role as Regina George in "Mean Girls" on Broadway, announced a new headlining tour Monday, June 23.

The star who, in recent years, has become a Gen-Z breakout star with the help of her fame from "Sex Lives of College Girls," will embark on a 16-city tour beginning Sept. 23.

The news comes ahead of the Aug. 1 release of her highly anticipated second album, "Bite Me."

Rapp, 25, released her newest single, "Leave Me Alone," which will be part of her upcoming album, roughly three years after starting her solo music career.

Borrowing from the belting prowess a career in Broadway afforded her, Rapp leans into a more angsty singer-songwriter sound on her solo ventures. Her music mines heartbreak and offers a raw and vulnerable lyricism to fans hungry to know her outside her most famed characters.

In 2023, Rapp released her first full-length studio album, "Snow Angel," and has since received nominations for best new artist and Push performance of the year at the MTV VMAs.
