Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson loves listening to country music (and thinks you should, too)

The Rock wants you listening to outlaw country.
Wrester-turned-A-lister Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared on Instagram Sunday with his nearly 150 million followers that he loves spinning the genre's modern class — Sturgill Simpson, Cody Jinks, Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton and Jamey Johnson each earned a shoutout from The People's Champion.
Johnson shared a photo of Simpson's integral "Metamodern Sounds In Country Music" album cover, highlighting 2014 cut "Living The Dream" as his track of choice from Spotify's "Sturgill Simpson Radio" channel.
"As a lifelong fan of country (traditional/outlaw) music, I highly reco one of my fav artists, Sturgill Simpson," Johnson wrote. "Sturgill, Cody Jinks, Tyler Childers, Stapleton, Jamey Johnson are a few of my favs who would’ve made Jennings, Merle, Paycheck, Cash, Gosdin and the Possum himself very proud to keep the tradition going."
He finished the post with a punch of The Rock wisdom: "If you know, you know. Now jump in that truck and turn em up."
Solid advice, Mr. Johnson.
