Jack Antonoff taps Bruce Springsteen for new Bleachers song 'Chinatown'

Jack Antonoff is multi-tasking.
Antonoff, head of the alt-rock band Bleachers, has been busy working on the upcoming Patti Scialfa album.
He's also nabbed Scialfa's husband, Bruce Springsteen, to appear on the new track from Bleachers, “Chinatown,” with him. The Boss also makes an appearance in the video for the song, released Monday.
The two drive off in a late-model Cadillac convertible into a dusty Jersey sunset in the vid with a “Born to Run” mid-tempo vibe.
“I want to find tomorrow, yeah I want to find tomorrow,” they sing as Antonoff drives.
Antonoff, a native of New Milford and Hillsdale, is wearing a “Welcome to New Jersey: Now go home” T-shirt in the video. The four-time Grammy winner has recently worked with The Chicks (formerly the Dixie Chicks), Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey.
Springsteen is a big Del Ray fan.

Stone Pony fest: Jack Antonoff of Bleachers talks Shadow of the City
Antonoff co-produced the new Scialfa track, “You're A Big Girl Now,” a stirring ballad in the Irma Thomas mold. Springsteen debuted the song on his SiriusXM radio show this summer.
The annual Shadow of the City festival at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park is produced by Antonoff.
A second new Bleachers track, “45,” was also released on Monday. They'll both be included on an upcoming album, due out next year. Springsteen has just released the hit album “Letter to You” on Oct. 23.
