Harry Styles revealed the meaning behind "Watermelon Sugar" – a song streamed over 1 billion times on Spotify – and the answer comes with viewer discretion.

The former One Direction band member initially told a Nashville audience the meaning of the song didn't really matter during a concert on Friday, as seen in a video posted on YouTube.

Then he dove a little deeper.

"It's about... the  sweetness of life," Styles said. "It's also about the female orgasm, but that's totally different, it's not really relevant."

Paste BN has reached out to Styles' label for comment.

"Watermelon Sugar" was released in November 2019 and was Styles' first song to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song also won him his first Grammy at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in March for best pop solo performance. He has been nominated three times.

Styles' "Love on Tour" kicked off Sept. 4 in Las Vegas and includes stops in cities across the U.S., ending after three nights at The Forum in Los Angeles.
