The Boss says vote.
Bruce Springsteen sang three solo acoustic songs, spoke glowingly of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz (and critically of Donald Trump), and then implored the audience to vote at the Thursday, Oct. 24, Harris presidential campaign rally at James Hallford Stadium in Clarkston, Georgia.
Springsteen performed a spare and haunting version of his classic “The Promised Land” before addressing the crowd.
“I’m Bruce Springsteen and I am here today to support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for president and vice president of the United States and to oppose Donald Trump and JD Vance,” Springsteen said.

“Now, here’s why: I want a president who reveres the Constitution, who does not threaten, but wants to protect and guide our great democracy, who believes in the rule of law and the peaceful transfer of power, who will fight for a woman’s right to choose, and who wants to create a middle class economy that will serve all our citizens.
“There is only one candidate in this election who holds those principles dear: Kamala Haris,” he added. “She's running to be the 47th president of the United States, Donald Trump is running to be an American tyrant. He does not understand this country, its history or what it means to be deeply American, and that’s why on November 5, I’m casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
“I urge all of you who believe in the American way to join me. Thank you.”
Springsteen then performed “Land of Hope and Dreams” and “Dancing in the Dark” for the cheering crowd.
Harris, former President Barack Obama, Georgia U.S. Senators Raphael G. Warnock and John Ossoff, actor Samuel L Jackson, and filmmakers Spike Lee and Tyler Perry also spoke at the rally,
Springsteen and Obama will rally in Philadelphia for Harris on Monday, Oct. 28.
Springsteen endorsed Harris Oct. 3 in a social media video filmed at Roberto's Freehold Grill in his hometown of Freehold.
