Boston Calling is back.

The three-day event will be held over Memorial Day weekend in May. It takes place at Harvard University's Athletic Complex in Allston.
This year marks the fourteenth time Boston Calling has taken place. The festival began in 2013 as a biannual event that was held in both May and September each year. It transitioned to a once-a-year schedule in 2017.

Boston Calling organizers announced on social media that there would be increased safety measures at the festival in 2025 after some attendees of last year's events said online that it was overcrowded.
Organizers announced an upgrade to the festival's main stage configuration which includes merging the Green and Red stages together.
"We've invested in a world-class rotating stage system to provide better views, more space to roam, and enhance audio/video experience for everyone," the festival said on X, formerly Twitter.
The post also said there will be an air-conditioned indoor arena at this year's festival as well as more water stations throughout the venue.
