Vans Warped Tour reveals first few bands for 2025 comeback following hiatus


After a six-year hiatus, the Vans Warped Tour festival will return to the rock scene for its 30th anniversary.

The punk and alternative rock festival announced its first slate of talent for its three two-day comeback events in Washington, D.C., Orlando, Florida, and Long Beach, California.

Up to 100 bands are expected to perform at the festivals, from big names to new acts. Among the lineup are Montreal-based band Simple Plan, north Texas group Bowling for Soup and California Bay Area band Dance Hall Crashers, according to the festival's website. Some of the lineups vary per location while artists like Miss May I, Chandler Leighton and Pennywise are scheduled for all three stops.

The last warped tour wrapped in 2019 with three stops in Mountain View, California, Cleveland, Ohio, and Atlantic City, New Jersey. In years prior the tour offered a much larger variety of stops, with the 2018 one featuring nearly 40 shows nationwide.

The festival debuted in 1995 and has long presented a wide array of talent including stars like EminemKaty PerryNo Doubt and Weezer.

Way more artists are expected to be announced closer to the respective festivals.

Vans Warped Tour tickets

Vans Warped Tour tickets for the DC and Long Beach events are sold out, requiring hopeful attendees to join a waitlist.

Meanwhile, general admission and VIP passes remain available for the Orlando event as of Monday, Jan. 27. Pricing ranges between $229.98 and $449.98 depending on the pass type.

Presale tickets for two-day passes went on sale on Oct. 24.

What is Vans Warped Tour?

The Vans Warped Tour, founded by Kevin Lyman and sponsored by Vans, was a traveling punk and alternative rock tour that began in 1995 and ended in 2019.
