Rod Wave postpones Tennessee concert hours before show time in string of cancellations

Rapper and singer Rod Wave canceled his Tuesday night show in Nashville, Tennessee, calling off the concert less than an hour and a half before doors were set to open.
The canceled Jan. 28 show follows a postponement of the tour's originally announced Nashville show, which was slated for Dec. 9, as well as a series of other cancelations and postponements.
The 26-year-old "25" and "Street Runner" singer embarked on his Last Lap Tour with special guests Moneybagg Yo, Toosii, Lil Poppa and Dess Dior in October.
Why does Rod Wave keep canceling shows?
The chart-topper, who released his album "Last Lap" in October, has canceled a number of shows due to varying concerns throughout the tour.
At the start of the tour, Wave postponed a Los Angeles concert and canceled an Oakland, California, show due to production issues. Later that month, Wave canceled one show in San Antonio and another in Sacramento, California, after security concerns. The L.A. wildfires also caused the rapper to call off another show.
On Jan. 25, he canceled a show in Florida due to "unforeseen circumstances."
It is unclear why Wave initially rescheduled his December show in Nashville, Tennessee, and the reason behind the January cancelation is also unclear.
"Unfortunately, Rod Wave is unable to perform tonight," the concert venue, Bridgestone Arena, shared on social media. "The show is being postponed to a later date. More details to follow."
"The Event Organizer has had to postpone your event," it says on Ticketmaster.
"Please hold onto your tickets as they will be valid for the new date. You can locate your tickets by signing in to your online account. If your event is eligible for a refund or credit, those options will be visible within the Event Details of your order."
