Lainey Wilson tour: Country star hitting the road for 8-month concert world tour

The "Whirlwind" career of Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and Grammy-winning country performer Lainey Wilson shows no signs of slowing down as the Louisiana native is hitting the road worldwide for eight months in 2025.
Among the three-dozen-plus dates she has scheduled are Nashville, Tennessee; Los Angeles, Austin, Texas; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Denver and, across the pond, Zurich and Paris.
The tour, which features support from artists including Ernest, Muscadine Bloodline, Kaitlin Butts, Maddox Batson, Drake Milligan, Lauren Watkins and Zach Meadows, highlights the broadest embrace yet of the ever-narrowing gap between mainstream country's celebrated traditions and modern stylings, plus Americana and honky-tonk's surging popularity.

Whirlwind Tour follows big year for Lainey Wilson
After picking up her first Grammy for Best Country Album for 2023's "Bell Bottom Country" last year, Wilson will return to the stage in Los Angeles on Feb. 2 as a highlighted performer. Her 2024 album "Whirlwind" is nominated on Sunday evening for potential back-to-back wins.
The 2024 summer release of the critically-acclaimed album, "Whirlwind", earned the performer her best first-week sales ever as the record debuted at #8 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. The album features her current Top 5 country radio single “4x4xU,” which is geared up to be her eighth #1 hit.
These achievements occurred during a busy 2024, where she was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry, co-hosted the 58th annual CMA Awards alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, and headlined the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving halftime show as part of The Salvation Army's 134th Red Kettle Campaign.
That success follows her being 2023's ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year, supported by seven No. 1 country hits, including "Watermelon Moonshine" and the double-platinum-certified "Heart Like A Truck." She has also collaborated with established male country stars Cole Swindell ("Never Say Never"), Jelly Roll ("Save Me"), and HARDY ("Wait in the Truck") in a trio of award-winning collaborations.
Also growing as a star on silver and television screens, Wilson made her acting debut in season five of Paramount’s hit series Yellowstone. She also recorded the Academy Award-shortlisted "Out of Oklahoma" for the 2024-released film "Twisters."
