Call 57-ALL2WELL: See how much 'Swiftie' vanity phone numbers are going for

A company is selling phone numbers inspired by Taylor Swift lore, hoping fans will jump at the chance to say, "Hi, you've reached 509-SWIFTIE."

Jaclyn Easton, founder of Swiftie Phone Numbers, spent the past year searching databases to buy a collection of numbers related to the Eras Tour singer.

"If you search for vanity phone numbers, you'll see tons of places where you can buy them," she says. "Believe it or not, you can buy some on eBay. It's a matter of constantly looking in all the various places where they are. ... I started looking for an area code plus S-W-I-F-T-I-E."

One of the phone numbers the Washington entrepreneur purchased is 509-794-3843, a Spokane area code with the last seven digits spelling out SWIFTIE. Easton is selling the number for $5,700. She owns 816-SWIFTIE, which is a Kansas City area code, and the price is about a grand more.

"That one is our most expensive," Easton says. "The person who's getting that owns that number forever."

On the other end of her portfolio is 218-5TSWIFT going for $335. Here are some of the numbers that fans will recognize as nods to Swift's songs, relationship and tour:

  • 75-ERAS-TOUR for $4,500
  • 41-SWIFT-ERA for $3,300
  • 772-4-WILLOW for $1,200
  • 574-DOWN-BAD for $880
  • 405-TAY-TRAV for $870
  • 615-BEST-DAY for $600
  • 828-8-TAYLOR for $405

"This marks the first time a fandom has access to a phone number collection," she says.

After a purchase, the vanity number replaces a current phone number or is used as a second line. Numbers can't be transferred to landlines. Easton says she is not affiliated with Swift in any way.
