Lollapalooza reveals dates for 2025 festival: 'See you this summer'

For music lovers, it wouldn't be summer without a little palooza.
The annual star-studded concert series Lollapalooza will return to Chicago's Grant Park this summer, organizers revealed in a video message on social media Tuesday. The festival will run from July 31 to Aug. 3.
"đź‘‹ See you this summer, Chicago," the post read.
While the lineup remains a mystery, last year's headliners included SZA, Blink-182, Tyler, the Creator and The Killers. The 2024 roster was unveiled in late March, so it may be some time before ticket-buyers get a full list of the featured acts.
Lollapalooza 2024 top moments: Chappell Roan, Kesha performances
Lollapalooza 2024 featured knockout performances from the likes of Chappell Roan and Kesha. Roan, who was riding the wave of her breakout success with "Good Luck, Babe!", made history with the massive turnout for her set.
A spokesperson for Lollapalooza told Paste BN in a statement at the time that Roan's performance was "the biggest daytime set we've ever seen." Additional sources told CNN that Roan reportedly had "Lollapalooza's biggest set of all time," although the exact number of attendees at Roan's show was not confirmed.
Kesha, who reportedly swapped stages with Roan to accommodate fan demand, also had an eventful Lollapalooza experience. At one point during her performance, the Grammy-nominated pop star sang with a large knife as she interpreted her 2010 deep cut "Backstabber."Â
Following her set, Kesha claimed in a social media post that the knife, which she at one point pressed against her leg onstage, was not a prop — even though she thought it was at the time.
According to the "Tik Tok" singer's post, the original prop knife "went missing" and was replaced with a "real butcher knife stolen from the kitchen."
