Rapper Wiz Khalifa is coming to Iowa for part of his 24-stop international tour.
The Pittsburgh rapper is making stops across the Midwest as well as California, Norway and Estonia. Khalifa released his new EP at the end of March called Kush & Orange Juice 2, which featured Grammy-nominated rapper Gunna.
Who is Wiz Khalifa?
Khalifa was born in North Dakota, but moved around growing up as his father was in the military. He started writing lyrics for songs as young as 9 years old, according to Biography.com.
His music career took off with his hit "Black and Yellow," dedicated to his hometown team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Khalifa has over 36 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has been nominated for 10 Grammy Awards.
When will Wiz Khalifa come to Iowa?
After performing in Urbana, Illinois, Khalifa will stop in West Des Moines on Thursday, May 22.
He is performing at the Val Air Ballroom. The show starts at 8 p.m.
