Travis Kelce shows pride for Taylor Swift buying masters: 'It's finally hers'
Travis Kelce is singing girlfriend Taylor Swift's praises for buying back her masters, and he's singing them proudly.
On the June 4 episode of "New Heights," the Kansas City tight end spoke to former basketball player Shaquille O'Neal. During the interview, the 7'1" sports analyst says, "Hold on, don't ... I gotta show you guys somethin'."
He presses play on his cellphone and holds the speaker up to the microphone. Swift's first version of "I Knew You Were Trouble" from her fourth album, "Red," begins.
O'Neal mouths the words and Kelce dances cha-cha style to the beats, adding in a few "yeah" riffs. His cohost and brother, Jason Kelce, juts his head back and forth. As Swift sings, "You found me, you found me, you found me," Travis splays his fingers like jazz hands and mouths the end of verse one.
"That's my favorite song in the world brotha," O'Neal says while pausing the song.
Travis over-joyously claps and exlcaims, "Shout out to Tay Tay, just got that song back, too."
Jason shouts, "Hell yeah."
"Just bought all her music back so it's finally hers, too, man," Travis adds. "I appreciate that dog."

Claiming her masters
On May 30, Swift made the announcement that she had secured her entire catalog of work from Shamrock Capital, meaning all of her music, music videos, concert films and album art from her first six albums. Travis Kelce liked her Instagram post. His buddy and fellow Kansas City Chief, Patrick Mahomes, retweeted the news.
"I almost stopped thinking it could ever happen," Swift wrote in a letter posted to her website, "after 20 years of having the carrot dangled and then yanked away."
The singer-songwriter has been on a journey to reclaim her work since Big Machine Label Group sold her work in 2019 to Scooter Braun's Ithica Holdings company for $300 million. In November 2020, Braun sold the catalog to Shamrock, who worked with the singer in 2025.
"I am endlessly thankful," Swift wrote. "My first tattoo might just be a huge shamrock in the middle of my forehead."
