Beyoncé lands Night 3 in London: Watch Rumi get emotional onstage, more standout moments
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter commanded the stage her third night in London on her "Cowboy Carter" tour, continuing her tradition of fresh custom looks and high-powered energy.
The Grammy-winning singer kicked off her June 10 show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium around 7:41 p.m. local time. The show marked her third of six shows at the stadium on her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour. She is set to hit the stage again June 12, 14 and 16, before heading to Paris for three nights.
“We’re gonna have us a good time tonight,” Beyoncé said as she opened the show.
As fans know, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary. Here are top moments from Tuesday's high-powered performance.
Beyoncé's 7-year-old daughter Rumi gets emotional during 'Protector' performance
Of course, one of the most talked about moments of the tour has been Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 7-year-old daughter, Rumi Carter, who joins her mother and sister Blue Ivy Carter during the "Protector" performance. Night after night, Rumi has touched the hearts of fans with her warm, vibrant presence.
On Tuesday in London, she continued to shine. This time entering the stage with a twirl and sharing what appeared to be an emotional moment that captured the crowd’s full attention.
Beyoncé debuts more head-turning looks during third London show
By now, fans expect Beyoncé to serve high fashion looks and cowboy couture. The entire tour has been a full-blown showcase of fashion and creativity, in addition to music. Each night, she has been keeping fans on the edge of their seats as they anticipate a new look and custom designer pieces.
On Tuesday night, she delivered once again with many of her looks having dual functionality. One head-turning look came when Beyoncé appeared to rock a custom Off-White outfit, featuring a black cowboy hat. Shortly after, she showed off a red durag style cap with the outfit. Meanwhile her dancers wore a red ensemble with black cowboy hats.
The new fashion looks continued throughout the night with Beyoncé debuting fresh looks during her "Texas Hold 'Em" performance.
Some fans noted that Beyoncé seemed to reimagine elements of her dazzling "Renaissance" looks for the "Cowboy Carter" era. One account noted, "Tonight’s outfits keep getting better and better! London, you’re lucky!"
Beyoncé keeps 'Renaissance' favorites on the set list for third London show
Of course, Beyoncé added some fan favorite tunes from her 2022 album "Renaissance" during her London opener June 5. And luckily for many fans, they appear to be a permanent addition — at least at her London shows. During her June 10 concert she kept her hit song "Energy" on the set list and fans got a chance to hit the the "mute challenge" once again. Additionally, she also performed her hit 2022 single "Break My Soul," which she did for the first time on night two in London.
The nine-city tour will span the U.S. and Europe with the grand finale taking place in Las Vegas on July 26.
