Kelly Clarkson setlist: All the hit songs powering her Las Vegas residency

LAS VEGAS – Kelly Clarkson brought sizzling “Chemistry” to her first Las Vegas residency and now she’s returned with an intimate studio vibe.

On July 11, a week after the original opener was postponed, the singer-songwriter-TV-host kicked off her Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with a 22-song set encompassing her more than 20 year career.

She’ll perform at the 4,100-capacity theater for shows scattered through July, August and November. Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com/kellyvegas.

The Texas native said she would bring “the studio to the stage” when she announced the slate of shows. Clarkson delivered with her trademark blend of down-to-Earth humor and out-of-this-world vocals, all while joking and jamming with her outstanding band that included dual drums, several guitars, horns and strings.

Her "studio to the stage" promise evoked a homey atmosphere with lamps stationed around the stage and some of Clarkson's personal artifacts, including photos and her favorite studio mic, integrated into the show.

Fans of Clarkson's talk show will be happy to see she added a rotating Kellyoke cover to the setlist. On opening weekend, she sang “I Will Always Love You” as sung by Whitney Houston and written by Dolly Parton and Maneskin's cover of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons' "Beggin'."

In January, Clarkson, who curates her own SiriusXM channel, “The Kelly Clarkson Connection,” revealed she started her own record label and will release her upcoming album independently. The first new single from that project, “Where Have You Been,” dropped May 1 and is part of Clarkson's new show.
