With more than 20 seasons on its flagship series and multiple spin-offs, "Ghost Adventures" is one of the most popular paranormal franchises on television with Zak Bagans and his team visiting haunted houses all over the world. Over the years, they have made a few trips to Georgia.

Below are the Peach State properties that got their attention and what they saw while they were in town.

Moon River Brewing Co.

21 W Bay St, Savannah

While most modern-day Savannah residents know it as the Moon River Brewing Co., this building has a history dating back to 1821 when it was the City Hotel, Savannah's first hotel. Its history is long and rather dark, including a murder in 1832 and when it was a hospital housing yellow fever victims. It opened as a brewery and restaurant in 1999.

In season 2 episode 7 of "Ghost Adventures," the team captured multiple sounds of laughing as well as a voice saying "It's the God." They also experienced a possible possession and had a rather threatening dynamic with a spirit who didn't seem to like it when they were pretending they were going to renovate the space.

Moon River permanently closed over the summer. Plans for the building's future are unknown. Zillow indicates that, as of Wednesday, the property is not for sale.

Sorrel Weed House

6 W Harris St, Savannah

Built in 1840, this house was built for Francis Sorrel, a prominent commission merchant to the West Indies. It was later bought by a prominent businessman, Henry D. Weed, and saw many prominent members including Confederate General Robert E. Lee. The house was also the sight of two suicides and sits where the Siege of Savannah was during the Revolutionary War.

On the "Haunted Savannah" episode of "Ghost Adventures," the team heard various disembodied sounds like footsteps and a woman saying "Hello." They also experienced unexplainable technical difficulties and someone felt like he was stabbed, only to pull up his shirt and find a faint scratch on his side. While the episode is labeled as being on season 9 in most lists, for those wanting to watch it online, it's labeled as season 11 episode 10 on Max.

Tours are available to be scheduled at the Sorrel Weed House. For more info, go to sorrelweedhouse.com.

Gribble House

234 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Savannah

In 1909, the Gribble House was the sight of what has been called "The most diabolical crime in the history of Savannah." Three people were killed with an axe with one victim's husband eventually convicted of the murder. The house was demolished in 1941, then in 1944 a building was erected on site with adjacent lots to be used as an automotive service center and later became the car barn for Old Town Trolley Tours.

This was another property featured on "Haunted Savannah." While the paranormal investigators didn't find anything, they heard from others who talked about people feeling hands around their throats. One employee said he heard a disembodied voice swear at him and use slurs. Another said she saw a black cloud.

The property continues to serve as the headquarters for the trolley tours.

New Buc-ee's: Could a fourth Buc-ee's location be coming to Georgia? Here's what we know

Dean's Haunted Mansion

106 Washington St, Fort Gaines

Little is know about the backstory of Dean's Haunted Mansion, but it's a very creepy historic house on the southwest side of Georgia that was bought to turn into a haunted attraction. The owners didn't find out until later just how ideal this location was.

The house was featured fairly recently in a spin-off called "Ghost Adventures: House Calls" in the first episode of season two. During their investigation, the team captured the outline of a figure putting its hand on a woman's back while she was near the stairs. This happened again with another person on the stairs. They also reported feeling something touch their hands and arms. At one point while they were conversing, the team had a camera turn off after they messed up a spirit's name.

Dean's has also served as a filming location. According to the mansion's Facebook page, it was put up for sale a while ago, but as of August, the owners are also considering restoring it to an elegant Victorian house. They could not be reached for comment as of Wednesday.

The main "Ghost Adventures" series and its spin-offs are available to stream on Max, Discovery+ and Travel Channel. Some seasons of the main series are also available to watch on Hulu.
