Wendy Williams had quite a Monday.

The former host of TV's “The Wendy Williams Show” threw a note stating “Help! Wendy!!” out of a window of the memory care unit of an assisted living facility in New York City where she was staying on the morning of March 10, according to the New York Post.

The note was dropped into the hands of paparazzi, according to the Post. Police were subsequently called, and Williams was escorted out of the facility for a wellness check.

All aspects of Wiliams' life, including financial and living arrangements, are decided by court-appointed guardian Sabrina Morrissey.

Williams was diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, but she's disputed the diagnoses in recent interviews. The note seemed to be a gambit to draw attention to the dispute — and it worked.

Police and EMS transported Williams, an Ocean Township and Asbury Park native, to a hospital for evaluation. A psychiatrist examined Williams at Lenox Hill Hospital in the city and declared that her “mental capacity is fully intact,” according to TMZ.

The results of the exam will be forwarded to a judge in her ongoing guardianship case that’s addressing Williams’ claim that she does not have frontotemporal dementia.

Alex Finnie, Williams' niece who is leading the charge to get her aunt extricated from the guardianship, shared the comment “Yassssss it's about time!!!!” regarding the examination on her Instagram account on Monday.

It was not clear where Williams resided Monday night.

In 2022, Williams’ bank, Wells Fargo, claimed Williams was “the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation,” which triggered events that's led to her current situation. Part of the legal equation was the alleged expenditure of more than $100,000 on Uber Eats by her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., as stated in the 2024 Lifetime documentary “Where is Wendy Williams?”

Another $100,000 expenditure by Hunter Jr., related to a boat rental for a birthday party, was discussed in the recent Tubi TMZ-produced documentary “Saving Wendy.”

Wiliams traveled to Miami last month to attend a birthday party for her 94-year old dad, Thomas Williams, a former teacher and football coach at Asbury Park High School.

Williams is scheduled to call into ABC's “The View” on Friday, March 14.
