Amazon streaming for August 2019: From 'Avengers: Endgame' to 'Mission Impossible: Fallout'

Summer has an "Endgame."
Amazon Prime, along with other streaming services, are refreshing their libraries Aug. 1. But there's a superheroic entry coming Aug. 13.
Highlights from this month's new crop include Amazon original "Carnival Row," starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, and new episodes of kid-friendly "Pete the Cat." New-to-Amazon blockbuster films include Spartan epic "300"; the most recent "Mission Impossible" film, "Fallout"; and this summer's superhero extravaganza, "Avengers: Endgame" (available to rent or buy).
