Navarro Cheer's very own Jerry Harris gave a personalized  "Mat Talk" to a fellow cheerleader recovering after an accident.

Nan McMahan, 18, was in an accident that took her father's life and required her to undergo a leg amputation at 17 years old. Since the tragedy, the cheerleader has been working with the team at theChildren's Healthcare of Atlanta to learn how to use her prosthesis and walk on her own again.

Her care team attributes her progress to her positivity and determination from years of cheerleading. She's also a fan of Netflix's "Cheer," which follows the coaches and cheerleaders at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas, a small town with a school that has more than a dozen national championship titles under its belt.

To support her on Monday, the nurses recreated "Mat Talk," which occurs on "Cheer" when people yell words of encouragement as team members perform a routine.

The hospital shared videos of McMahan's custom cheer squad to Twitter on Tuesday, and a couple of members from Netflix's "Cheer" took notice, including her favorite star from the series: Jerry Harris.

"My favorite member of Navarro is Jerry. Because he's just so positive and exciting. And like he lost a parent," McMahan said. "I lost a parent and like he just still is so positive and just shows love to everyone, and that is just so special to me."

Harris went a step further and sent McMahan a special message.

"Hey, Nan! I just want to let you know I'm so very proud of you and how much you have accomplished and how much you have overcome to get to where you are," Harris said. "You are so strong and you are a fighter by nature and I'm just so so very proud of you Nan."

He continued: "I want to let you know I believe in you, I can't wait to see what the future has for you. I'm just so proud of you and so excited for you. Congratulations, Nan, you are loved by so many people in this world, especially me. I love you so very much and I hope this message means the world to you. I'm rooting for you every step of the way."
