Reservations are once again open at The White Lotus Hotel.

HBO on Monday dropped the trailer for the highly anticipated third season of "The White Lotus," which moves the Emmy-winning anthology series to Thailand.

The official logline says the new season takes place over the course of one week, and it looks to be a chaotic one. The trailer teases infighting among the new guests, threats of violence from a man in a mask brandishing a gun and a person falling off a boat.

"Seeking peace can be a trip" is the season's tagline, and a monk foreshadows a possible theme in the trailer by saying, "Everyone runs from pain towards pleasure, but they get there only to find more pain."

The first season of "The White Lotus," set in Hawaii, scored 10 Emmys, including outstanding limited or anthology series. Season 2, which was set in Sicily continued the show with a new cast and White Lotus location, though Jennifer Coolidge's Tanya returned. Season 2 received 23 Emmy nominations and won five awards.

This will be the first season of the HBO series without Coolidge, whose character was killed off in the finale of Season 2. But Natasha Rothwell is back as Belinda, the spa manager from the first season. In the trailer, she explains she is on an exchange program. And, of course, creator Mike White is once again returning as the writer and director.
