'The White Lotus' Season 3: Premiere date, time, trailer, cast and where to watch
What do affluent people and luxurious resorts in tropical destinations have in common? They're the focal point of the "The White Lotus," of course.
The Emmy-award winning HBO original series, which offers an inside look at the powerful and wealthy as they navigate complex personal dynamics and face potentially dangerous experiences while on vacation, returns for its third season this month.
"Seeking peace can be a trip," reads the tagline for this season, which was created, written and directed by former "Survivor" contestant Mike White.
This time around, viewers will be whisked away to an "exclusive" resort in Thailand, where an eclectic group of guests and resort employees will play, and likely misbehave, over the span of a week.
"The White Lotus" Season 3 guests include a wealthy businessman and his family, three longtime friends who haven't seen each other in a while on a girls' trip and "rugged man with a chip on his shoulder" and his girlfriend, among others.

"At the end of the week, you will be an entirely different person," one character narrates in the Season 3 trailer. "What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand," another character says. The eight-episode season will premiere on HBO first and be available to stream on Max.

Season 3 of "The White Lotus" will premiere at 9 p.m. EST/PST on Sunday, Feb. 16 on HBO and Max.

How to watch 'The White Lotus' Season 3
The eight-episode season will drop new episodes on Max weekly. The first episode of Season 3 will first air on HBO at 9 p.m. EST/PST on Sunday, Feb. 16 and be available to stream on Max.
Max subscription plans begin at $9.99 a month with ads, allowing users to stream with up to two devices at one time while ad-free subscriptions cost $16.99 a month, which includes the additional ability to download up to 30 titles to watch on the go.
The highest tier, which is $20.99 a month, includes the ability to stream on four devices and offers 4K Ultra HD video quality and 100 downloads. HBO also offers bundles with Hulu and Disney+.

Previous seasons have been set in other tropical destinations, including Hawaii and Sicily, Italy. This season has eight episodes total, one more episode than Season 2.
