When does ‘Love Island USA’ return? What we know about Season 8 and spinoffs

After a summer drama, Season 7 of "Love Island USA" is over.

Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales were crowned winners of "Love Island USA" 2025 on Sunday, July 13, becoming the fan-favorite couple and taking home $100,000.

Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen were the runner-up couple, thanks to viewers who cast their votes on the Peacock show's app. Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez and Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley also made it to the finale.

The latest season of "Love Island USA" became something of a cultural phenomenon both online and off, with viral clips, unhinged memes and the occasional sound bite trending across various social media platforms after new episodes aired. Viewers were hooked as the islanders spent several weeks navigating love and drama.

As Season 7 of "Love Island USA" draws to a close, here's what we know about what's next for the franchise.

Will there be 'Love Island USA' Season 8?

Peacock has not yet made an official announcement on whether "Love Island USA" will be returning for Season 8 and a representative had no information to offer when contacted by Paste BN.

However, casting for the hit reality TV show, based on the U.K. version of the series with the same name, is open with the show accepting applications for contestants for Season 8, the Arizona Republic, part of the Paste BN Network, reported. Like previous seasons, Season 8 is expected to air in summer 2026.

"Want to be the next Love Island USA Islander and turn heads in the upcoming season," the announcement said. "This is your moment to shine − don't sleep on it!"

When is 'Love Island USA' Season 7 reunion episode?

During the final episode, it was announced that the reunion episode of "Love Island USA" Season 7 is slated to drop Monday, Aug. 25, at 9 p.m. ET.

'Love Island USA' spinoffs

Two "Love Island" spinoffs have been announced by Peacock so far, including:

  • "Love Island: Beyond the Villa," is a new series featuring islanders from Season 6. The "Beyond the Villa" spinoff will focus on several fan favorites from last season, including Leah Kateb, Kaylor Martin, Miguel Harichi, and more. The show will follow the former islanders around Los Angeles "as they navigate new careers, evolving friendships, newfound fame, and complex relationships outside of the Love Island villa," Peacock said about the show.
  • "Love Island Games" Season 2: Scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 16, according to Deadline and the New York Times, Season 2 of "Love Island Games" features fan-favorite islanders from different "Love Island" series across the globe, including U.S., U.K. and Australia.

"Love Island USA" Seasons 4-6, the upcoming Season 6 spinoff "Love Island: Beyond the Villa," "Love Island Games," the UK's "Love Island: All Stars," and seasons of "Love Island South Africa" and "Love Island Spain" can be streamed on Peacock, too.
